Introduction

IPAF is renowned as the standard when it comes to powered access. This course aims to provide the knowledge and skills required to operate category 1b elevated platforms (Static & vehicle mounted booms).

As IPAF is so widely recognised it is highly likely that a client or principal contractor will require and IPAF ticket to demonstrate that you or your workforce are suitably qualified to operate these types of equipment in the workplace. This also means that the qualification covers a very wide array or sectors from Construction, Maintenance and Cleaning Services, to Manufacturing & Engineering.

As of March 1st 2025, our IPAF MEWP Operator will become eLearning led for the theory element of the course.

Delivery of this course is made up of 2x stages:

  1. IPAF MEWP Operator eLearning theory, to be completed prior to the course (approx. 3 hours completion time)
  2. Invigilated theory assessment & practical assessment (approx. 4 hours completion time experience dependent)

More information on the IPAF MEWP Operator theory eLearning can be found on the following video by clicking here.

Full classroom based courses (theory and practical) are available for group bookings, please contact us for further support.
